Farm kid in Seattle
Years and years and years ago, I really was raised on a farm. I worked in the fields, cared for livestock and operated all manner of heavy, dangerous equipment. I’m pleased to report that I still have all of my appendages.
I didn’t realize it at the time, but my first years of elementary education were unique. I attended a one room country school. As the only third grader in a school with 5 students in 8 grades, I was the recess activity for the two eighth grade boys in my school. I’m sure this explains a lot about my personality now. The country school is long gone. It’s been replaced by a corn field.
Now I revel in my life in Seattle Washington USA.
